Korea: Samsung has unveiled its largest monitor named SyncMaster P2770HD with a High Resolution TV tuner built in. This 27-inch monitor can be connected to cable/satellite box, Blu-ray player, gaming systems or computer. It supports display upto 1080p and has two built-in 3W speakers with support for Dolby Digital Plus and SRS TruSurround HD 5.1 surround sound formats

The P2770HD is wide enough to pull up two internet screens side by side. The integrated picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture features let users compute while watching TV. Its specifications include a 300cd/m2 brightness ratio, a five minutes response time and a 50,000:1 contrast ratio. Its connector supports D-sub, DVI-D, HDMI, component, composite, DTV Tuner, optical out, audio in, headphone out.

The P2770HD is available in Korea for around $477 and should soon be shipped worldwide.
