Bangalore: ViewSonic is set to enter Mobile market and will soon launch
a Windows XP phone VPC08. Even though the news is not official, the
device is said to have an Intel ULV-series processor at its core. This
handset is a perfect example of merger between PCs and mobile phones.
VPC08 has 4.3-inch display, along with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of
integrated storage space. The device also slides open vertically to
reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. Apart from that the phone also has a
secondary 2-inch display and a keypad outside, making it quicker to
dial numbers.

the rest of the world. The VPC08 is said to cost the equivalent of
$800.
